In this regard, the RDA now allows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10 marla apartment buildings to have shops on the ground floor on a maximum area of 450 sq. ft.<\/li>\n<li>1 kanal apartment buildings to have two shops (each measuring not more than 450 sq. ft.) on the ground floor.<\/li>\n<li>2 kanal apartment buildings to have four shops (each not more than 450 sq. ft.) on the ground floor.<\/li>\n<li>2 kanal and larger buildings must also have a community hall measuring not more than 800 ft in size, which cannot be used for commercial purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Read:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rda-questions-housing-societies-by-laws-and-fees.html\">RDA questions housing societies\u2019 by-laws and fees<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These approved conditions clarify that the apartment building area shouldn\u2019t be less than 4 kanals for the apartment building parameters to be considered on the basic unit for such projects.
