The shortfall forced SNGPL to either suspend or curtail supply to CNG, industries and power sectors to accommodate over six million domestic consumers residing in Punjab and KP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sngpl-ssgpl-may-require-pkr-55-bn-to-ensure-gas-supply.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SNGPL, SSGPL may require PKR 55 bn to ensure gas supply<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The suspension was not, however, extended to the zero-rated industries. The supply to the general industries and CNG sector will be restored as soon as the gas situation gets normal. The Mol gasfield will provide 200 MMCFD of additional gas in the system to meet domestic demand.
