Lahore: Zameen.com has signed an agreement with development partners of LDA City, a project of Lahore Development Authority (LDA), for being granted the exclusive\u00a0sales and marketing rights of LDA City Phase I (Jinnah Sector) open files \u2014 issued against land acquired for the society’s development.<\/p>\n

LDA City has been in the news as of late due to the fact that the development work for the project has been expedited \u2014 on the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. In this regard, the LDA City ballot<\/a> was held on November 30, where, with the help of Punjab Information Technology Board, plot numbers were allocated to 9,712 files in Jinnah Sector. This sector will feature 13,072 kanals of land and LDA has announced to hold a second ballot<\/a> on February 14, 2020 in order to allocate plot numbers to the remaining files.<\/p>\n

At the same time, land acquisition for LDA City is underway through the four development partners resgitered with the LDA. These include Urban Developers, Maymar Housing Services (Pvt) Ltd, Alpha Estate and Pak Estate Agency. These partners acquire land for the society and transfer it to the LDA City name. Against this land, the development partners are allocated open files for residential plots in sizes of 5 marlas, 10 marlas and 1 kanal.<\/p>\n
