Karachi: The Bahria Town Karachi administration has sent notices to the scheme\u2019s residents providing notification of its decision to implement a new water billing policy \u2013 according to posts shared on Facebook. This framework is expected to be implemented from April 1, 2020, onwards.<\/p>\n

As per the circular issued on December 30, 2019, the Bahria Town Karachi administration will commence with the installation of water meters in all households of the society. The notice further mentions that the management can no longer continue with the provision of free-of-cost water to its residents, since it has to incur high expenditure on this front.<\/p>\n
