He further stated that the authority would hire a consultant for the plan, as per the rules of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and guidelines of the Planning &amp; Development (P&amp;D) department.<\/p>\n<p>Syed added that as per the regional planning department, LDA would prepare the master plan for all urban and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lahore-master-plan-2040-to-include-development-plans-for-rural-areas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rural areas<\/a> falling within the limits of the Lahore region. However, the development authority has now decided to formulate a plan for 30 years in total, extending its reach to the year 2050 i.e. the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lahore-to-have-master-plan-2050.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lahore Master Plan 2050<\/a>.
