He also directed\nofficials concerned to work on the proposal for installing solar panels on these\nembankments. He further emphasised the need to beautify canals situated at Sukkur\u2019s\nentry points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siddiqui noted that it was important to plan schemes for the recovered land to prevent further incidents of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/anti-encroachment-operation-launched-sukkur.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"encroachment (opens in a new tab)\">encroachment<\/a>. Meanwhile, Sukkur Commissioner Shafique Ahmed Mahesar\ninformed the meeting that computerised balloting would take place for allotting\nthe plots in a transparent manner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siddiqui directed the officials to develop the 200-acre colony according to town planning principles \u2013 ensuring the availability of all amenities, along with civil infrastructure.
