During the meeting, Federal Parliamentary Secretary (Narcotics) Sheikh Rashid Shafique said that the development work on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/leh-expressway-feature-circular-rail-track.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Leh Expressway (opens in a new tab)\">Leh Expressway<\/a> should be launched to resolve Rawalpindi\u2019s traffic woes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also briefed the PM regarding the electricity issue that hinders the running of tube wells, and the issue of non-availability of funds for the 25 UCs that merged into a metropolitan corporation, from the district councils.
