It had allocated funds\nworth PKR 3.5 billion for the project during the ongoing fiscal year. The\nlatest data of the Planning Commission indicated that the total cost for the\nland acquisition of the Sukkur-Hyderabad section amounted to PKR 51 billion.\nOut of this amount, the authorities concerned have spent PKR 29.4 billion up\ntill June 30, 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway project is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pm-seeks-briefing-second-phase-cpec-projects-completion-timeframe.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) (opens in a new tab)\">China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)<\/a> initiative, and the relevant departments aim to build it under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/canal-banks-sukkur-walking-cycling-tracks.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Sukkur (opens in a new tab)\">Sukkur<\/a>, the motorway section will have stops at Khairpur, Nowshehro Feroze, Nawab Shah, Mitiari, Hala, and Jamshoro. The section will be 296 kilometres long; terminating at Hyderabad.
