As per the publication, the minister made this request while presiding over a performance review meeting for the province\u2019s housing sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/zameen.com\/news\/over-1000-wardens-recruited-traffic-management-lahore.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Over 1,000 wardens to be recruited for traffic management in Lahore<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CM stated that the city was\nfacing traffic woes, owing to the increased population and ever-increasing number\nof vehicles on the roads. He called for immediate steps to be implemented to\nimprove this situation and protect the citizens from frustration caused by\ngrowing traffic jams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He instructed for Ferozpur Road, Jail Road, Mall Road and Canal Road to be turned into models of effective traffic management. These locations included Bhatti Chowk (Data Darbar), Garhi Shahu Chowk, Shimla Pahari Chowk, Allah Hu Chowk, Workshop Chowk on the Outfall Road, Akbar Chowk on Maulana Shoukat Ali Road, Hussain Chowk on Noor Jehan Road, Regal Chowk at Mall Road, and Babo Sabo Interchange Chowk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While on the subject of the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), CM Buzdar said that there were vast investment opportunities in the h<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/punjab-cm-seeks-housing-policy-to-facilitate-low-income-groups.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"ousing sector (opens in a new tab)\">ousing sector<\/a>.
