Under this proposed project, the Pakistan-Afghanistan border will remain open around the clock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, CM Khan stated that the Peshawar-Torkham expressway (which is expected to cost an estimated 55.44 billion to develop) will not only boost trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan, but also ensure the development of the tribal districts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Read:<\/strong> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"KP govt to develop power infrastructure in merged tribal districts (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kp-govt-develop-power-infrastructure-merged-tribal-districts.html\" target=\"_blank\">KP govt to develop power infrastructure in merged tribal districts<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\nfurther took the opportunity to direct all the provincial departments to expedite\nthe development work on all existing schemes currently underway in the\nerstwhile federally administrated tribal areas (FATA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nmeeting was also informed that as many as 508 youths of the Khyber district would\nbenefit from the Prime Minister\u2019s flagship Kamyab Jawan Programme.\nAdditionally, almost 567 domicile holders of this district would get\ninterest-free loans of PRK 110 million, under the Insaf Rozgar initiative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nCM was also appraised about the Bara Dam that is expected to be developed at a\ncost of PKR 560 million.
