As per the\npublication, the road facility will connect Lahore and Sialkot via the eastern\nparts of the province \u2014 reducing the travelling time between the two cities to\na mere 41 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood inaugurated the Sialkot-Lahore Motorway Eastern Bypass Section on Feb 8. Reportedly, the cost of the 16.58km long bypass amounted to Rs11 billion and it composes of six lanes, nine bridges and eight underpasses.
