As per the details, the project will include the construction of a 21-kilometre-long corridor, starting from the Dawood Chowrangi to Numaish, and is part of the overall Karachi Mass Transit System. The project also includes the construction of two bus depots and development work to improve the 67-kilometre-long smaller off-corridor roads that are to be used as direct and feeder routes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sindh-govt-initiates-work-red-line-brt-project.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Sindh Govt initiates work on Red Line BRT project (opens in a new tab)\">Sindh Govt initiates work on Red Line BRT project<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scope of the services\nrequired are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To prepare a detailed\ndesign covering Yellow BRT Corridor and off-corridors. <\/li><li>To formulate construction\ncontracts and bidding documents, and to provide necessary procurement and\ntechnical aid to the SMTA during the bidding.<\/li><li>To prepare requirements\nand supervise works for a part of the project, which is to be undertaken\nthrough a Design-Built contract.<\/li><li>To supervise project\nconstruction and implement Building Information Modelling for constructing the\nproject digitally, and use this model to support stakeholders until project\ncompletion.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The estimated duration of the\nproject is 60 months from the contract signing to the Defect Notification\nPeriod (DNP). Interest forms are required to submit all pertinent information\ndemonstrating the required qualifications of aforementioned consultant.
