Several proposals were tabled before the meeting for consideration; including a long-term plan presented by Special Assistant to the PM on Petroleum Nadeem Babar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was apprised of the challenges faced by the electricity and gas production and supply firms. It was further informed that the government was taking measures to prevent electricity theft and had generated PKR 122 billion in revenue under its ongoing anti-power theft drive.
