They added that once upgraded, the new system would ensure the\nissuance of copies of records (<em>Fard<\/em>),\nrecording mutations (<em>Intiqaal<\/em>), and\ncorrection of the records (<em>Fard Badar<\/em>).\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat\nstated that the digitisation of the government\u2019s system would help eradicate\ncorrupt practices involved in the manual procedures. He added that the ICT had\ntaken a number of measures in this regard; including the computerisation of\nland revenue records of rural areas in the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials concerned revealed that the project plan included hiring <em>patwaris<\/em> with bachelor degrees for smooth functioning of the revenue departments.
