Upper Dir: Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Abdul Majeed on Wednesday announced a plan to plant a total of 2.5 million trees in the region this year \u2014 with the initiative being part of the spring plantation drive in District Upper Dir<\/a>, according to news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DFO made this announcement while addressing an inauguration ceremony organised at the Dodba forest nursery. He took the opportunity to urge the government and the area\u2019s residents to take up the responsibility to ensure the success of the plantation drive. He was of the view that public cooperation would facilitate the development of forests in this district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
