Lahore: The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) recently announced its decision to introduce online services for overseas Pakistanis \u2014 with the authority planning on releasing an app that will allow expats to pay the requisite fee to obtain their fard-e-malkiat<\/em> (record of rights) from anywhere in the world, a news source reported. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reportedly, users of the app will be able to pay the requisite\nfees through their debit or credit cards, or mobile app. The State Bank, the Finance\nDepartment, various commercial banks, and 1-link have all signed an agreement\nto make the service available to Pakistanis everywhere. Under the agreement,\nthe users will be able to pay the fees for e-stamp papers, fards<\/em>, and transfer fees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To obtain the record of rights, the users will first have to pay the fees, and then enter the code received upon payment into the app. This will allow them to \u00a0select the specific district, tehsil and khewat for their properties back home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
