Karachi: The Sindh government on Tuesday provided notification of its decision to reopen export-oriented units <\/a>that provide an undertaking to abide ‘in letter and spirit’ with its communicated, coronavirus prevention, standard operating procedures (SoPs), according to news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These SOPs make it mandatory for business owners to cover treatment expenses of their employees in case they contract COVID-19. To this effect, the province\u2019s health authorities will conduct random tests from time to time to ensure health conditions at operating units. Moreover, the government has recommended for the employees over the age of 55 to not be called for work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
