Quetta: The government of Balochistan on Tuesday announced its decision to computerise public property records in a bid to expand the province\u2019s property tax net coverage<\/a>, according to news sources. To this effect, it plans to implement a pilot project in Quetta with the Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences\u2019 assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabinet reached this decision at its recent meeting that was chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the province will fill around 58 available positions of naib tehsildar through the Public Service Commission test to ensure merited recruitments. The cabinet also approved the installation of solar power panels in the rural areas of Balochistan \u2013 under the Roshan Balochistan Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
