Islamabad: National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri on Monday stated that the planned dualisation of the 298-kilometre-long Kuchlak-Zhob<\/a> road would assist in the establishment of industrial zones and promote development in the area, according to news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deputy speaker said that the road would connect remote areas of Balochistan with other developed parts of the country. He took to Twitter to say that the National Highway Authority (NHA) had already invited bids for the project that is to be developed as part of the uplift schemes being initiated under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Suri went on to say that the dualisation of the Kuchlak-Zhob road would not only link different areas within Balochistan, but that it would also do the same for Dera Ismail Khan and the tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
