According to the details available, the provincial government has taken the said decision to facilitate the public ahead of Eid &#8211; and to minimise their risk of coronavirus infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/noc-route-permit-issued-tourist-double-decker-bus-service-twin-cities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NOC, route permit issued for tourist double-decker bus service in twin cities<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The authorities concerned have issued certain SOPs to resume the inter-city bus services in the province. Apart from mandatory online ticketing, these include contact tracing, social distancing, disinfection, and sanitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SOPs issued are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Distance of 3 feet between each passenger while boarding<\/li><li>Disinfection of buses after completion of every trip<\/li><li>Hand sanitizer facilities at terminals and within vehicles<\/li><li>Persons with fever or cough not allowed on vehicles<\/li><li>Passengers to wear masks and gloves<\/li><li>Seats next to passengers over 65 years of age to remain vacant<\/li><li>Minimum baggage<\/li><li>Frequent disinfection of waiting areas, terminals, bays, allied facilities<\/li><li>Availability of soaps and sanitizers in public toilets<\/li><li>Bus companies to deploy additional staff for managing crowds at terminals and marking positions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The provincial government has emphasised the need for contact tracing. This involves tracking passengers via the online ticketing technology.
