Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced its decision to retain funds meant for the Annual Development Programme (ADP), according to a news source. As it had diverted some development funds to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, it was previously considering cutting the ADP as well. KP Health and Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra addressed a press conference at the Civil Secretariat on Monday. There, he revealed that the government had released all annual development funds in December, and recorded the lowest expenditures in a long time.
