The meeting agenda includes detailed briefing on setting up industrial zones, wholesale markets, bus terminals, economic zones, satellite towns, hospitals, and fruits and vegetable markets. Moreover, the participants will be encouraged to share their feedback on the projects and the amenities planned along the route. Speaking to media, RDA Chairman Tariq Murtaza said that the ring road would become a new economic hub for Islamabad and Rawalpindi, which will see addition of several international-standard economic facilities.
