To this effect, officials revealed that PR would float tenders worth PKR 102 million for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kcr-phase-ii-dualization-project-financed-local-funding.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KCR Phase II dualization project to be financed via local funding<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to details, the tenders cite around seven major works for the rehabilitation of KCR. These include<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Rehabilitation of station buildings from Karachi City to Orangi<\/li><li>Removal of debris and solid waste from tracks between Wazir Mansion and Orangi<\/li><li>Rehabilitation of bridges, foot-over bridges, and platform shelters<\/li><li>Supplying, stacking, and loading of 2-stone ballast at Wazir Mansion<\/li><li>Rehabilitation of level crossings in Group A, B, and C<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kcr-made-fully-functional-july-30.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KCR to be made fully functional by July 30<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The officials concerned revealed that PR is ready to float these tenders as per the orders of the Supreme Court for KCR\u2019s revival. KCR Project Director Ameer Mohammad Daudpota stated that people would soon have access to this mass transit system as it was among PR\u2019s top priorities.
