The government had previously announced to handover the project to the Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA). Sources also claim that a formal notification in this regard will also be soon issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to initiate the related developments for the said project\u2019s execution, the Land Revenue Department is currently surveying the area to identify land owned by the provincial government and the private owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/stakeholders-invited-benefit-land-use-plan-drafted-developments-rrr-route.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stakeholders invited to benefit from \u2018land-use\u2019 plan drafted for developments along RRR route<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While presiding over a meeting held to discuss the project, the commissioner said that the project will be developed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rrr-lrr-sl-iii-projects-to-be-completed-under-ppp-model.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">partnership with the private sector<\/a>, where the provincial government will manage PKR 8 to 9 billion of the project\u2019s total expense. This amount is in addition to the funds allocated for the purpose of land acquisition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The commissioner further revealed that all the homework \u2013 to help timely launch of the project\u2019s development work \u2013 would be completed by the end of this month. Detailing on the project route, he said that the RRR will start on N-5 (GT Road) near Radio Pakistan Building and will end at Sangjani, while passing through Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway M-1 and Lahore-Islamabad Motorway M-2.
