This would help streamline the fuel supply and make the oil sector self-sufficient, in addition to saving the government millions on the petroleum import bill annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Senior Petroleum Division official stated that the government wants to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply across Pakistan via recording daily sales at petrol pumps and oil depots. He added that it also wants to increase the technical and professional capacity of OGRA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Petroleum Division has also drafted a bill to legally bind the petrol pumps and oil depots so that the government could record their daily sales.
