Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Monday remarked that all businesses,<\/a> including restaurants, educational institutions, marriage halls, and those related to the tourism sector, might be allowed to resume operations if the decrease in the incident rate of new coronavirus cases was seen to persist throughout the month of Muharram, according to news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While addressing the nation, Khan urged the citizens to strictly adhere to the suggested precautionary measures during Eid-ul-Azha and Muharram to prevent additional escalation in the number of COVID-19 cases. He also urged the people to use online methods for animal sacrifices, or to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) while visiting the cattle markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He advised shopkeepers and consumers to stick to the anti-COVID-19 SOPs and cautioned that the country will not fare well in case of a second wave of the virus.
