To this effect, Federal Minister for Science &amp; Technology Fawad Hussain stated the opening of the charging station would encourage the use of electric vehicles as future transportations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minister revealed that there would only be 1% duty on the establishment of electric vehicle manufacturing units in the country. The policy aims to bring half a million electric motorcycles and rickshaws, along with over 100,000 electric cars, buses, and trucks, into the local transportation system within the next five years.
