The budget was approved in the governing body meeting under the chair of Vice Chairman S M Imran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the total resources LDA\u2019s Urban Development Wing for FY2020-21 are estimated at PKR 39.52 billion and the development expense will be amounting to PKR 25.87 billion \u2013 out of which PKR 17.52 billion will be provided through LDA\u2019s own resources and PKR 8.34 billion will be given by the Punjab government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kmc-city-council-approves-pkr-24-845bn-budget.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KMC city council approves PKR 24.845bn budget<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A sum of PKR 8.74 billion has been allocated, under LDA\u2019s own resources, for the execution of development work in the authority\u2019s housing schemes \u2013 PKR 400 million for LDA Avenue \u2013 I, PKR 8.16 billion for the LDA City, while PKR 35 million will be used for water supply, road network and sewerage installations of Finance &amp; Trade Centre in Johar Town and PKR 90 million will be used for scattered development projects in various LDA housing schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, PKR 3.43 billion has been set aside of construction of various structures and PKR 2.11 billion will be spent on completing the ongoing infrastructural development schemes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-empowers-town-planning-wings-operational-authority.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LDA<\/a>. WASA will get PKR 17.89 billion, whereas its expenses are estimated at PKR 20.81 billion.
