Lahore: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has slashed fares for its domestic flights<\/a> (between Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi) by 14% as part of its Independence Day celebration, according to a news source published on August 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The national carrier made this announcement regarding PIA fares through its official Twitter account. Reportedly, the offer \u2013 hailed as \u2018Jashan-e-Azadi offer\u2019 \u2013 will be available between August 7-14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, passengers will be allowed to take luggage weighing up to 73-kilograms without any additional cost. The airline has also announced the resumption of domestic flights from Multan, Sukkur and Gwadar airports \u2013 starting from August 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
