Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Sunday announced that it had selected a consultant for the Ghazi-Barotha water supply project for Islamabad and Rawalpindi, a news source reported. They further announced the development authority\u2019s decision to commence with the land acquisition process for the project. According to the details revealed, CDA proceeded ahead with the Ghazi-Barotha water supply project as per the instructions of the federal government. To hire consultancy services for the project, the authority invited proposals from both national and international companies. A committee selected the lowest bidder following the evaluation of the bids submitted.
