Islamabad: Pakistan and South Korea<\/a> on Thursday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on agricultural science and technology cooperation, according to news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the agreement, Pakistan and South Korea will collaborate to promote growth in the agricultural and livestock sectors, and establish an agricultural centre in Pakistan for joint research \u2013 under the Korea Program on International Agriculture (KOPIA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MoU was signed in a meeting between Administrator Rural Development Administration (RDA) Kim Kyeong-Kyu and Pakistan’s Ambassador Mumtaz Baloch \u2013 held at the RDA Headquarters in Jeonju. Under this MoU, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) and RDA will coordinate and research technology development for livestock and agriculture sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
