These were as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>The company or the builders are registered with the relevant institute.<\/li><li>The housing scheme has a no-objection certificate from the relevant authority.<\/li><li>Find out the exact amount payable after including the development charges.<\/li><li>Find out from the revenue department if the land of the housing scheme has been registered under the name of the developers\/owners.<\/li><li>Check the housing scheme map for amenity plots (including those for schools, colleges or hospitals) and their location on-ground.<\/li><li>Confirm with the utility providers whether they will provide all the requisite utility connections.<\/li><li>Make payments through cheque.<\/li><li>Record the names and the official address of the societies and housing schemes.<\/li><li>File complaints with the authorities concerned in case of fraud or other issues.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/gda-crackdown-against-illegal-housing-schemes.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GDA finalises survey for launching crackdown against illegal housing schemes<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NAB further warned all advertisement agencies to check the necessary details of housing schemes before advertising for them.
