As per the FBR\u2019 statistics, the international travellers brought as many as 1,389,707 handsets and had them registered with the Device Identification Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the government has also launched the DIRBS system to discourage the illegal flow of mobile phones and to facilitate the genuine users.
