PHP officials said that the programme had helped reduce road accidents in the two areas by 40% during its pilot phase. They added that the motorists became more careful in following rules due to the programme\u2019s strict enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The officials revealed that the PHP and the city traffic police would work together under the ODOR programme. They added that those violating traffic rules would be liable to paying fines, facing legal action, and the authorities would impound their vehicles as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the initial phase of the initiative, the PHP and traffic police officials would monitor various highways and connecting roads.
