The planned underpasses are geared to make the busy roads of the metropolis \u2018signal-free\u2019 \u2013 and to ease up its heavy traffic situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>: Project consultant hired for parking plazas&#8217; construction in Rawalpindi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq Murtaza, the development of these underpasses and parking plazas will help improve the city\u2019s traffic system within a time frame of two to three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the planned parking plazas will be developed under the private-public partnership (PPP) arrangement \u2013 in commercial areas and markets.
