The chairman also took the opportunity to state that the highway was expected to boost activity at the Gwadar Port, and that it would serve as a major artery for the traffic utilizing this route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Gwadar East Bay Expressway connects the Gwadar seaport and Free Zone with the country\u2019s national highways. This makes it a major development for the CPEC initiative and as such, is expected to expedite the transport of import and export goods to and from Gwadar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the port can only be accessed through a short 16-feet wide road running through the Gwadar Town at the West Bay.
