Lahore: Minister for Fisheries and Wildlife Samsam Bukhari revealed that that the board approved the establishment of Natural History Museum<\/a> while chairing the meeting of Wildlife Management Board at the Forest Complex in the provincial capital, according to a news source published on September 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minister announced that the board meeting \u2013 which was held after 18 years \u2013 will now be repeated every quarter. During the meeting, he stressed on the importance of wildlife preservation for the country\u2019s landscape and ecology, for which the attendees of the meeting also proposed their suggestions. It was decided that in the border areas, the native wildlife will be preserved with the assistance of the provincial wildlife department and the Pakistan Rangers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the meeting decided to promote legal hunting activities and increased the penalty and punishment intensity for illegal hunting activities.
