The decision was taken during in authority\u2019s 49<sup>th<\/sup> Governing Body meeting held in its head quarter with RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza in the chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rrr-to-have-9-interchanges-nphp-units-in-surrounding-areas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RRR to have 9 interchanges, NPHP units in surrounding areas<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting members agreed that these mouzas will be made part of the RDA controlled area soon. The purpose of extending the RDA\u2019s domain to the RRR Economic Zone is regularize the construction activities here and ensure that they are built in accordance with the authority\u2019s predefined regulations and bylaws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The official notification regarding the RRR economic zone becoming part of Rawalpindi will be issued by the Punjab Government, after which these mouzas will technically be part of the RDA\u2019s controlled area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rawalpindi-ring-road-project-handed-over-to-lrra.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rawalpindi Ring Road project development task handed over to LRRA<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to that, the RDA also approved to conduct feasibility study for setting up aerotropolis around the Islamabad International Airport and some parts of the ring road. The Governing Body also decided to hire a survey firm for identifying land to be acquired for construction of Leh Expressway.
