The introduced changes are expected to promote the construction of high-rise building \u2013 in accordance with Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan\u2019s vision on controlling urban sprawl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/dha-lahore-overseas-enclave-expatriates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DHA Lahore announces Overseas Enclave for expatriates<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the details, the DHA has not only allowed the construction of various types of projects on 16-marla and above commercial plots, it has also increased the height limit for commercial building constructed on 16-marla, 32-marla and 80-marla commercial units. This is exactly what the DHA\u2019s Facebook post on \u2018Relaxation on Use of Commercial Plots\u2019 says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Now 16-Marla and above commercial plots can be utilised for (the construction of) any kind of projects i.e. Apartments, Office Complex, Retail, Hospitality, Medical Facility etc.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/dha-lahore-office-offers-executive-services-to-its-premium-clients.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DHA Lahore office offers \u2018Executive Services\u2019 to its premium clients<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the same post, the society management has invited plot owners and builders to apply for development projects according to the updated bylaws. Moreover, the post comes tagged with the helpline number: 042-111-342-547 (Ext 2819, 3408).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A similar post was shared on September 17 where the DHA announced \u2018Height Relaxation for Commercial Buildings\u2019:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Height limit for commercial plots measuring 16 marlas to less than 32 marlas increased to 96 feet<\/li><li>Height limit for commercial plots measuring 32 marlas to 64 marlas increased to 120 feet<\/li><li>Height limit for commercial plots measuring 80 marlas increased to 150 feet<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The post on \u2018height relaxation\u2019 comes with a few hashtags suggesting that the move is meant to spruce up the applications for commercial plots \u2013 which are being offered on 3-year payment plan via an open ballot taking place on October 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/stark-rise-in-dha-lahore-property-demand-reported-prices-go-up.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stark rise in DHA Lahore property demand reported, prices go up<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 16, the DHA Lahore shared the details on these developed plots via its official website, where it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/dha-lhr-reveals-location-price-of-developed-plots.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed <\/a>the exact location, sizes, images and value of these plots. The list included 6 units of 16-marla plots; all located in DHA Phase 8 CC2.
