Lahore: The Punjab government has launched an online service to promote the construction sector \u2014 with the portal having been launched on the direction of Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar, according to a news source published on Saturday (September 9). The CM called the new service an \u2018important next step\u2019, following the previous launch of a one-window facility for granting construction-related permits and NOCs. Read: FBR to introduce online income tax refunds system Reportedly, the online platform will provide builders, architects, developers, individuals, and companies access to all the permits required for their respective projects. In addition, the provincial government has been introducing online departmental reforms in order to promote economic stability, and bring the services provided by the one-window facility directly to people\u2019s homes. This online portal was developed in collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board \u2014 with the service allowing the general public to conveniently access all construction-related information and documents available.
