Reportedly, the contract for the two construction projects was earlier won by a joint venture of Maqbool Associates and Calsons. The winning bid was PKR 628.5 million for the Korang Bridge and PKR 428 million for the PWD Underpass \u2014 with these amounts respectively 17% and 19% less than the estimated cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding for the two projects is expected to be provided under the Public Sector Development Programme (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/over-130-development-schemes-completed-psdp-2019-20.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PSDP<\/a>).
