Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Thursday said that promoting ease-of-doing business, improving the tax system, facilitating the business community (involved in the industrialization process), providing credit facilities, and removing unnecessary regulations comprised the government\u2019s \u2018foremost\u2019 priorities, according to news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He expressed his views on the matte during a meeting with representatives of Karachi\u2019s various trade organisations and a delegation of industrialists. He assured the attendees that he would continue to interact with the business community <\/a>to ensure that the process of facilitation and reforms is carried forward by incorporating the proposals of stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants expressed their appreciation for the government for introducing the incentives for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country, in addition to launching the Karachi uplift package. They also briefed the PM regarding the challenges being faced by the business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
