The estimated cost for acquiring built-up properties (BUP) along the expressway\u2019s right of way (ROW) is PKR 27 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the details revealed, a total of 1,600 houses are located on the expressway\u2019s ROW, while the land identified for acquisition in order to clear the road\u2019s route is 1,362 kanals. Out of this, 1,279 kanals fall in Rawalpindi, while 83 kanals of land is part of Islamabad\u2019s domain.
