It prefaced the statement by saying that it did not include 509,000 late filers in the said ATL as these individuals did not file their income tax returns within both the communicated timeframe and the extension issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>:\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fbr-to-launch-crackdown-on-commercial-property-owners.html\" target=\"_blank\">FBR to launch crackdown on non-taxpaying commercial property owners<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018The amount of ATL surcharge for companies is Rs20,000; Association of Persons Rs10,000; while ATL surcharge for individuals is Rs1,000,\u2019 the taxation agency said in a statement. \u2018The board has encouraged such taxpayers to pay respective amount of ATL surcharge and take benefits of ATL,\u2019 it added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is pertinent to mention that the FBR had uploaded the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fbr-notifies-active-taxpayers-list-2020.html\" target=\"_blank\">Active Taxpayers List 2020<\/a> to its website on March 1.
