One of the decisions pertains to the construction of 4,400 low-cost apartments in Alipur Farash, according to news report published on March 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/new-cda-board-to-make-islamabad-tourist-friendly.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New CDA board to make Islamabad tourist-friendly<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CDA board plans to allot apartments to the displaced people of shanty settlements through the authority and other beneficiaries of the Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA) through auction. Other decisions made by this meeting include the construction of three roads to be built through (Ministry of Defence) and the establishment of the Metropolitan Police. This force will be formed in collaboration with Islamabad Police and will guide and assist citizens in public places and tourist spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the board decided that the following three road projects will be constructed either through the Defence Ministry\u2019s Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) or the National Logistics Cell (NLC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-to-hold-auction-of-commercial-plots-in-blue-area.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDA to hold 3-day auction of commercial plots in Blue Area<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Margalla Avenue (33 km from G.T. Road to D-12 and then from the edge of Constitution Avenue to Bhara Kahu)<\/li><li>I.J.P. Road<\/li><li>10th Avenue<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The final decision in this regard is subject to the federal cabinet\u2019s approval. The board said that both NLC and FWO are capable of executing the projects.
