{"id":75016,"date":"2021-03-22T14:12:56","date_gmt":"2021-03-22T09:12:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/?p=75016"},"modified":"2021-03-22T14:13:01","modified_gmt":"2021-03-22T09:13:01","slug":"crbc-project-proposed-to-be-made-part-of-cpec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/crbc-project-proposed-to-be-made-part-of-cpec.html","title":{"rendered":"CRBC project proposed to be made part of CPEC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan on Sunday was informed that efforts were underway to include the Chashma Right Bank Lift Canal (CRBC) in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project and once completed the project will become a \u2018game changer\u2019 for the provincial agriculture sectors, according to news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kp-requests-inclusion-chashma-canal-project-psdp-2020-21.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KP requests inclusion of Chashma Canal Project in PSDP 2020-21<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The said information was revealed during the progress review meeting of the project \u2013 where the CM was informed that the technical\/financial evaluation for feasibility study, engineering design and PC-I for the CRBC project has been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the meeting was informed that Swat Motorway\u2019s phase-II and Dera Ismail Khan Motorway has been also been proposed to the inclusion in CPEC. The meeting was further informed that the Public-Private Private Partnership Committee (PPPC) has approved execution of the commercial and financial feasibility of phase II of Swat Motorway and the land for said project is being acquired. In the same manner, feasibility for the Barang tunnel in Bajaur was underway.
