The said initiative is worth USD 150 million, according to a news report published on March 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/revenue-dept-open-400-rural-revenue-centres-punjab.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Revenue dept to open 400 rural revenue centres across Punjab<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the details revealed, the BoR has initiated the preparations for Lahore\u2019s digital map \u2013 which will be formulated in coordination with the Survey of Pakistan. Under this project, all buildings in the provincial capital will be mapped in the first phase, numbers will be allotted to all buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to allotting numbers to each building, its area, value and owner details will be digitalized as well. After the project completion across Lahore and other urban centres of Punjab, immoveable properties\u2019 Khasra numbers will be abolished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the Punjab cabinet has approved a land reforms law tabled by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/punjab-establish-computerised-land-bank-board-revenue.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BoR<\/a> \u2013 under which the offices of private housing schemes will be declared public offices and records of these societies will be sealed.
