The commissioner issued the directives in response to receipt of numerous complaints filed by the stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to launch the crackdown, the directives have been issued to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Municipal Administration Director, Registrar Cooperatives, and the concerned directors of the Capital Development Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-asked-to-provide-list-of-unlawful-societies.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDA asked to provide list of unlawful societies<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the directive, not a single activity of marketing, advertising and selling of plots can be entertained by the concerned departments for developers of housing scheme for which a No Objection Certificate (NOC) hasn\u2019t been acquired. It was further mentioned that marketing and sales activities of housing schemes without an NOC is illegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To counter this, the Chief Commissioner office has also asked all the relevant departments to start an awareness campaign for general public to prevent them from falling in such traps.
