As per the information available, this economic rejuvenation project is expected to create jobs, maximise business opportunities, rehabilitate livelihoods, and promote socio-economic uplift of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/consultant-nphp-project-sorazai-peshawar-finalised.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">communities.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kp-cm-approves-roads-project-south-waziristans-mehsud-belt.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KP CM approves roads project for South Waziristan\u2019s Mehsud belt<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the breakdown of costs, the local government department will get a PKR 429.5 million allocation for civil works in 18 bazaars, including construction of plain cement concrete pavements, footpath drains, solar pressure pumps for drinking water, solar tubewells, overhead water tanks, solar streetlights, and public latrines. In addition, PKR 348.2 million will be allocated to different irrigation projects, including 45 flood protection works in different parts of the district, 15 groynes or spurs, rehabilitation and construction of 30 water channels, 22 water tanks irrigation channels, and 25 concrete water tank and irrigation channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An additional PKR 318 million will be spent primarily on agriculture for the promotion of apple and plum orchards, and imparting technical skills\u2019 knowledge for orchard management. Moreover, PKR 257 million will be spent on technical education and vocational training and Rs220 million on small and medium enterprises, while PKR 177.5 million will be spent in the livestock sector.
