The meeting also cleared one project worth PKR 17 billion and sent it for further approval to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The development projects including planning and housing, science and technology and energy were presented in the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project focusing on planning and development project of housing scheme is named \u2018Development of Ziarat Town\u2019. The main part of the project will be widening and improving existing roads and the provision of missing tourism infrastructure. These are; Fulbright Scholarship Programme HEC-USAID (Phase-III), Enhancement of Academic Facilities at NED University of Engineering &amp; Technology and Establishment of Pak-Korean Nutrition Center that will help in improving child and community nutrition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project that was sent to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ecnec-approves-major-uplift-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ECNEC<\/a> for further approval was related to the energy sector in which a 30 MW Hydro Power Plant will be built in Gilgit-Baltistan which will generate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was also attended by Secretary Planning, senior officials from Planning Commission and federal ministries\/divisions.
